Kommuninvest´s first Kangaroo transaction

On August 18 Kommuninvest priced its first Kangaroo transaction. As a Kangaroo debutant from the supranational, sovereign and agency (SSA) sector in 2010, Kommuninvest issued a A$200 million August 2015 bond.

 - Kommuninvest has made a strategic decision to adopt the Kangaroo market as one of its funding sources. We were very happy with the geographical distribution of the transaction with over 30% going to the domestic accounts, 45% into Japan and the balance in to Asia-ex Japan and Europe, comments Anders Gånge, Head of Kommuninvest’s Finance & Treasury Department.
